Las Vegas police is reaching out to the gay community about terrorism following the nightclub massacre in Orlando.
The department is hosting a presentation Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada near downtown Las Vegas, which is also known as The Center.
Bar and nightclub employees are being invited to learn about the signs of terrorism and how to report suspicious behavior.
A total of 49 people were killed and 53 others were injured on June 12 at the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
