LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal incident that involved a public bus on Silverado Ranch Boulevard Thursday night.
Officers said around 9 p.m. an RTC bus was traveling west on Silverado Ranch Boulevard after completing a stop near Maryland Parkway when it ran over a man.

As the bus driver was pulling away from the stop, this person told police that's when they knew they ran something over. The driver immediately stopped, and a man was found the deceased.
Officers at the scene said the man had gotten run over by the rear wheels of the bus after he exited, but it was unknown how he got underneath.
Police also said the passenger appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, possibly alcohol.
