LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Vegas PBS will premiere a locally produced documentary called “The Showgirl: A Las Vegas Icon” later this month.
The documentary is expected to give viewers an inside look at the entertainers who have become synonymous with the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas around the world.
“The Showgirl: A Las Vegas Icon” will premiere Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. with a rebroadcast on Sept. 25 at 9 p.m.
This local production features former showgirls and Las Vegas Strip headliners as they reveal the history of the iconic symbol of Las Vegas show business.
Vegas PBS is holding two special events to supplement the show. Viewers can dive deeper into the history of the entertainers with exclusive bonus footage and a panel discussion during a virtual fundraiser on Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. More information is available here.
