Vaping, e-cigarettes no longer allowed in many public places in Nevada

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada is expanding its Clean Air Law.

The law restricts use of vaping products and electronic cigarettes in most public places and indoor places of employment.

According to the Southern Nevada Health District, vaping products and e-cigarettes will no longer be allowed in child car facilities, theaters, arcades, malls, restaurants and bars where minors aren't prohibited.

Places where use of tobacco products, electronic cigarettes or vaping will still be allowed include casinos and standalone bars where minors are not allowed.

The new law takes effect Jan. 1.
