LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — UNLV kicked off homecoming festivities Tuesday morning with the unveiling of University Center Drive.
The road was formerly known as Swenson Street.
Alumni and students led the effort to rename the road to give it a more collegiate feel.
The Paradise Town Advisory Board and Clark County Planning Commission unanimously approved the change in 2018.
