LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas college students, including UNLV and CSN, return to class Monday. Even though most students are already on campus, not all of their classes will be held in-person.
UNLV says 31,000 students are expected for the fall semester.
About 80% of its classes will be held remotely, the university says, including all classes with 50 or more students enrolled.
Students moved into the dorms over the span of six days, to accommodate social distancing guidelines.

On campus, everyone is required to wear masks indoors, and UNLV is only encouraging students who are showing symptoms, or knowingly may have been exposed, to get tested for COVID-19.
If a student tests positive, the school has rooms available to isolate the student until they recover.
Typically, UNLV dorms hold 1800 students. However, this fall that number has been reduced to 1000.
