Organizers say thousands of people participated in the event on Wednesday afternoon, including hospitality workers who are members of the Culinary Union. The rally is also an official event for the international convention of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
The National Labor Relations Board recently certified a December election that showed a majority of workers at the Las Vegas luxury hotel wanted union representation. Trump's company asked for a review challenging that decision.
Workers want talks to start now, but it could be difficult to compel Trump management to come to the bargaining table anytime soon.
