Police say that an Uber driver is recovering after being stabbed in downtown Las Vegas on Friday morning.
The incident was reported at 2:17 a.m. near East Carson Avenue and South Casino Center Boulevard.
Police say that the Uber driver picked up someone who was not scheduled to be picked up.
13 Action New spoke to the driver's wife who believes her husband was just trying to be helpful.
The suspect is still on the run, according to police.

Police say an #uber driver got stabbed by someone they weren't supposed to pick up. This woman says she's the driver's wife and she warned him not to do this.
