U.S. Bank announced today that it will close its offices and branches at 1 p.m. local time on June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.
Because Juneteenth falls on a Friday and many U.S. Bank customers need in-person banking on a day that may be a payday, in-person banking services will be available until 1 p.m.
Customers are encouraged to access mobile and digital banking services or its ATM network that afternoon.
Many of the more than 2,700 U.S. Bank branches in 26 states also offer in-person banking – lobby or drive-thru – on Saturdays.
