A vacant home caught fire Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:25 p.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to the fire in the 1700 block of Capistrano Avenue, near Maryland Parkway and Vegas Valley Drive.
Upon arrival, firefighters reported a two-story, single-family house with smoke coming from both floors of the structure. Interior crews reported poor visibility and high heat. Additional resources were requested to assist with the fire.
Crews made an offensive fire attack and knocked the fire down at a reported time of 3:48 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation. Damages were estimated at $50,000.
