Major construction projects are turning into a nightmare for people near Sunset Road and Eastern Avenue.
"I leave at least a half an hour or 40 minutes early everyday and sometimes I'm just barely scraping by," said Sherrine Carder, who works in the area.
Here's the problem. There are two different projects happening at the same time, but it's more than just an inconvenience. Businesses are taking a serious hit.
"Lot of complaints. Lot of complaints from the clients. Oh my god, it takes forever to get here now," said Tom De Bone, owner of D'hair to be Different Salon.
Relief is on the way. According to RTC, one project is expected to wrap up in November, and the other, on Friday.
Even though it's been a long time coming, many say in the end, it will all be worth it.
"I know the roads are rough and people are having a harder slower time but it means people are back to work and America is doing better and that's great for Las Vegas," said Stacie Courtney, who works in the area.
