Clark County School District officials are talking about breaking up the district into smaller precincts.
They're asking for input from parents and community leaders. A town hall meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Las Vegas City Hall.
The Clark County School District is one of the largest in the country.
State lawmakers passed a reorganization bill this summer.
It's still in the planning phase right now, and the entire process could take up to 2 years.
