Today is the last day for mail-in voting

Posted
The deadline for mail-in voting is Nov. 1, according to the Nevada Secretary of State's website.

Over 250,000 people in Clark County showed up to cast their ballots during the first week of early voting. About 35 percent were Republicans, and 44 percent were Democrats. If the trend continues, Democrats are projected to secure a comfortable lead heading into Election Day.

Nevada is one of only a handful of swing states that show Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump within five points of each other, and both candidates are making a final push for votes in the state. Trump held a rally at the Venetian on Sunday, while Clinton will return to Las Vegas on Wednesday.

While mail-in voting ends Nov. 1, Nevadans have until Nov. 4 to cast their ballots early.
