A local politician is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who knows anything about three dead dogs found dumped on Sunday.
Another heartbreaking case of dead animals dumped. One local senator is sick of it. What he's doing on @KTNV at 6:30 pic.twitter.com/ZFZUVdMgmr

Monica Phillips came across the dogs while she was hiking on Frenchman Mountain. She and her boyfriend called Animal Control, who took the carcasses away.
"We really did not want to stumble upon [it] but I'm kind of glad we did just so that we can try to figure out what's going on," Phillips said.
A Clark County spokesperson says three dogs and at least one chicken were found. The incident is under investigation.
It's the second time dead animals have been found in garbage bags on the side of the road this month.
"Anybody who hears this, they're disgusted by it," said Sen. Mark Manendo, a Las Vegas Democrat. "They don't want it tolerated in their community."
Manendo says the reward will go to anyone who has information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
He says he's raised the money from his constituents.
"People are opening up their wallets because they feel this is an injustice and they want people to be held accountable for these actions," Manendo said.
