LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Thousands of bellies jiggled like bowls of jelly in downtown Las Vegas Saturday during the 15th annual Great Santa Run.

The 5K and mile long races invited people to dress like Santa Claus and run the course surrounding the Fremont Experience to help a local nonprofit, Opportunity Village, with awareness and fund raising.

Opportunity Village helps people with intellectual disabilities live more independent lives with job training, housing assistance, employment, and social opportunities.

"This empowers our community," said Adam Joseph, Opportunity Village vice president of philanthropy, "this empowers the people that we serve every day, and who wouldn't want to hang out with thousands of Santas?"

Joseph said they attempt to raise funds around the year and people can help them by visiting opportunityvillage.org.
