Thousands attend 6th annual Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival

The 6th annual Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival kicked off Sept. 21 in downtown Las Vegas.

Headliners for Friday included The Weeknd, Daniel Caesar, RL Grime, French Montana, Death Cab For Cutie, CHVRCHES as well as Justice, The Neighbourhood, Denzel Curry and more.

The Art Motel returned this year with a phenomenal art installation specially curated by Portuguese artist, Bordalo, who pulled together 10,000 feet of recycled trash into six new worlds of art in the, "Wild Wild Waste" where festival goers visited throughout the day.

The Kicker comedy stage debuted with standups by recurring character on the HBO series Silicon Valley and self proclaimed #funnyasiandude, Jimmy O. Wang, as well as Comedy Central's stand-up comedian Natasha Leggero and more. The Beatles Love Cirque du Soleil performers also roamed the festival streets surprising attendees with pop-up acts near the Fremont Stage.

Performances included: Travis Scott, Florence + The Machine, Sam Feldt + Jeremy Renner, Michelle Wolf, N.E.R.D, Miguel, Galantis, Foster The People, Cold War Kids, Galantis, Alison Wonderland, St. Vincent and more. 

On Saturday, The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil joined Foster The People for a show stopping mash up performance of "Hey Jude," Florence + The Machine gave a theatrical and memorable performance with Florence Welch running and leaping on stage, joining fans for a couple of songs, Miguel swooned the crowd playing his top hits, thousands filled the Fremont Stage tent for Galantis and Travis Scottliterally shut down the Bacardi Sound of Rum stage with fireworks and a crowd cheering him on as a he freestyled a heart filled tribute to Mac Miller. 

Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner surprised guests when he joined dutch DJ Sam Feldtlive on stage for a performance of their new single, "Heaven (Don't Have a Name)" for the first time on the Life is Beautiful Fremont Stage.

Emmy Award Winner Michelle Wolf and Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars winner Trixie Mattel cracked up the crowd at The Kicker comedy stage and more. 

Arcade Fire, Odessa, Tyler, The Creator, Goldlink, t-Pain, First Aid Kid and Cahmere Cat perform Sunday.
