UPDATE ON JULY 2: Priscilla and John Boore say their trailer has been found, though the thieves had taken many of the supplies, and destroyed a "good portion" of what was left inside.

However, they also say that they were able to salvage some of the remaining items. They thank the community for helping them find the trailer.

ORIGINAL STORY

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A storage trailer belonging to a portable church was stolen from a storage facility near Tenaya and the 215.

Anchor Hill Church is a "mobile church" that got its start in late 2015.

Pastors Priscilla and John Boore set up equipment every Sunday to turn the auditorium at Centennial High School into a place of worship.

"We get to come in every morning and set up, and then tear down everything, and it makes for a fantastic location since we are portable," Priscilla Boore said.

The couple stores their audio and video equipment along with promotional materials for the church and other supplies in a trailer.

They thought the trailer would be safe and secure at CubeSmart storage facility near Tenaya and the 215, but it went missing Friday.

"We are still itemizing all of the losses," Priscilla Boore said.

The Boores estimate nearly $25,000 worth of supplies and equipment was taken, but they still plan to hold services Sunday.

CubeSmart declined to comment.
