UPDATE ON JAN. 27: NDOC reports that Jeffrey Pimental was recaptured around 10:20 a.m. Saturday.
Pimental was located in a Summerlin apartment building. Investigators called him out of the apartment, and he surrendered without incident.
He was taken to High Desert State Prison where he will remain as he faces further charges.

Minimum security inmate Jeffrey Pimental was reported missing from Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp around 6 p.m. Saturday.
Three Lakes Valley is located about 30 miles north of Las Vegas.
The Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) says that he walked away from the camp and was picked up by a driver in a vehicle nearby.
Pimental was serving 2.5 to 5 years for battery with a deadly weapon.
NDOC says Pimental is 46 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, brown eyes, dark brown hair, and is heavily tattooed all over his body including his face.
Anyone with information on Pimental's whereabouts should call 911.
