The UNLV Running Rebels opened up what was supposed to be a turning point for the program under head coach Tony Sanchez. Instead, they made national headlines for all of the wrong reasons.
The Running Rebels were 45 point favorites over Howard University this past weekend, led by the younger brother of NFL QB and Heisman trophy winner Cam Newton, and came up on the losing end of the game by the score of 43-40. It marks the biggest upset (by point spread) in NCAA Football history.
