The child is recovering physically. However, she is still dealing with the trauma of coming under fire, according to the family.

ORIGINAL: Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting that injured a Las Vegas child.
Curtis Truman, 23, was taken into custody on Wednesday in Southern California after authorities received an anonymous tip on his whereabouts, according to police.
Truman was shown in a surveillance video back in September shooting into the back of a car that resulted in injuring a 7-year-old girl.

Authorities thanked the public for their assistance in the arrest as Truman awaits extradition.
