Survey: Las Vegas homeowners have higher confidence in market

A new survey found that Las Vegas homeowners have higher confidence in the housing market.

According to the Chase Housing Confidence Index, 79 percent of Las Vegas consumers think it’s a good time to buy while 84 percent think it’s a good time to sell. In addition, 90 percent of local consumers think home values in their neighborhood are going up or staying the same.

When people are looking at buying homes in Las Vegas, the survey found that safety of the neighborhood, commute time for work, size of the home, new or like new conditions and attached garage were what mattered most.
