Study: Nevada has 8th highest rate of homelessness in the country

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A new study by Porch Research shows that Nevada has the 8th highest rate of homelessness in the country.

The report finds the state has 23 homeless people for every 10,000 residents.

For reference, the national average is 17 homeless people per 10,000 residents.

The state with the highest rate of homelessness is New York, followed by Hawaii and California.
