Student leader, Alex Gallegos, reached out to us 13 Action News, frustrated about all the negativity he's seeing in and around his school.
First their principal, David Wilson, was placed on leave before school even started.

And no one knows why.
CCSD says it cannot discuss personnel matters.
"We're all just looking for answers, trying to navigate all of this as students and I think teachers as well too."
To add to the mounting stress and anxiety in the high school, teachers' ongoing fight for a raise and a potential strike on the horizon. The tension is felt by students.
