The Extraterrestrial Highway sign outside Hiko has been removed.
NDOT says the sign was unreadable due to vandalism. They are planning to replace it after the AlienStock festival. They also say it's one of their most stolen signs.
Two events have been planned in Hiko and Rachel related to the Storm Area 51 Facebook viral event.
