Squatters are likely to blame for a house fire at the same location in days.
The fire broke out in the 200 block of West Cincinnati Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue, just after midnight Sunday.
The vacant building also caught fire Friday and already had significant damage from the blaze. Fire officials said the building has been used by squatters.
"Oh my goodness it was blazing real bad," said neighbor Doris Henry. "It was very smoky. I had to come in because the smell started to bother me."
Some neighbors say they've grown to be very scared of the squatters. One woman says there have been several fires as well as violent crimes. She said she's been the victim of a mugging.
