16-year-old Aidan Hill was on that flight alone, he told me it was a terrifying experience to be tapped on the shoulder and told there was a fire onboard.

"First, they said go to the front, like the normal exit off the plane, but then the flight attendants were like, 'Go back, go back.' So I was like halfway to the front and then they started swooshing us to go to the back emergency exit where the inflatable was," said Hill.

Tricia Kean: So you had to exit down on this inflatable slide. That's how you got to the runway ground. What was your reaction to that, Mom?

Natalie Wainwright: Absolutely terrified. I went to the airport to pick him up at 10 o'clock in my nightgown and robe and slippers. And I did not care at all. I ran through that airport with a mission. I thought I was getting on that tarmac with my son because I just let them out on the tarmac willy-nilly. So I had no insight into who was in control once he was out on the tarmac. Where was he going from there? And he didn't know either. So they were out on the tarmac for a good seven minutes with no insight into where to head next.

Wainwright says Hill was offered a $200 voucher and a refund on his flight from Southwest Airlines after the experience.

Hill says he will still fly again despite this experience but his mom says he won't be flying alone.

No one was injured and no further details were provided, according to KOLO.
