A service was held for corrections officer Kyle Eng on Monday in Las Vegas.
Eng died earlier this month at the City of Las Vegas Jail. He was found unconscious at the jail on July 19. He was 51 years of age at the time of his death.
According to Facebook post by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Eng died after being involved in a fight with an inmate. However, the Clark County coroner has not released an official cause of death.
Services were held at Canyon Ridge Christian Church.
The family of the corrections officer described him as a role model after his death.
