The return of shows on the strip may help bring back more jobs in the hospitality industry.
New numbers from DETR show Las Vegas lost 1400 more jobs between August and September.
And the valley is still down nearly 130,000 jobs from September of last year.
A quarter of those are in the leisure and hospitality sector.
In September, the unemployment rate in Las Vegas was about 15%.
