LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- 30-year-old Diana Nicole Pena appeared in a Clark County courtroom Tuesday, facing charges relating to the death of a California doctor in Las Vegas.

Pena turned herself into police Saturday, the same day her alleged accomplice, 25-year-old Kelsey Turner went before a judge.

In the criminal complaint filed against Turner, the woman delivered a deadly blow to the head of psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Burchard in early March.

Police say Turner then left his body in the trunk of an abandoned vehicle along east Lake Mead.
