A scooter driver is in critical condition after a hit-and-run at the intersection of 21st Street and Searles Avenue.
The incident occurred around 10:11 a.m. Sunday. Officials say a black Honda minivan hit the scooter driver after running through a stop sign while traveling southbound on 21st Street. The minivan then ran over the driver as it fled the scene.
The scooter driver was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Las Vegas police shut down the intersection to investigate the crash.
