It's the lawsuit that has everybody talking. LaCroix's parent company is being sued after claims that their products are not actually all-natural. However, the substances listed in the lawsuit may be safe after all.

The National Pesticide Information Center posted on social media, saying one of the substances, linalool, is a naturally occurring chemical found in many plants. They say it is found in some products used to kill bugs, but it's generally safe for human consumption.

A report by Popular Science also states the three ingredients listed in the lawsuit, limonene, linalool, and linalook propionate, are not considered "synthetic".
