Motorcyclist critical after slamming into bus

Posted
A motorcyclist is in critical condition after ramming into a school bus with children on it.

The motorcycle operator was going east on Ann when he slammed into the bus in the middle of the intersection.

The intersection at Ann and Jones was blocked off for hours as Las Vegas police investigated the crash.

Seven students were on board the school bus. None of them were injured. The bus driver was not injured either.

There's another twist to the crash too. After the motorcyclist crashed into the bus, he went flying underneath a Metro unmarked car.

We spoke with a CCSD teacher on his way home from work who says things did not look too good.

"I saw the gentleman on the motorcycle being loaded into the ambulance and what looked like he had a severed leg I'm not sure if that's exactly the case," said witness Todd Solby. "I did see him lift his arm at one point"

Police are investigating whose fault the crash was and if drugs, alcohol, or speed were a factor.
