LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Ms. Gwen Walker has seen her share of challenges since opening the Walker African American Museum in 1996.
The museum closed a couple of years ago due to water damage and plumbing issues.
While there is still a lot of work to do, Walker is working on a bigger issue, encouraging young people to vote.
On November 2nd, she's holding a voter registration drive in front of the museum.
Walker needs several supplies to reopen the museum, if you would like to help visit here.
