The third annual Run for Safe Guns took place at Cornerstone Park Saturday morning.
It's in honor of Las Vegas resident Brooklynn Mohler who was accidentally shot and killed by her friend after they found a loaded gun. Mohler's parents, Jacob and Darchel Mohler, are now advocates for gun safety, traveling all over the U.S. to spread awareness.
Saturday's event is aimed at educating parents and children about the dangers of loaded guns and the importance of safe storage.
