LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Former Nevada Rep. Ruben Kihuen's attempt to reenter politics has come up short.
The Democrat lost his bid for Las Vegas City Council following the April 2 Clark County primary elections.

Olivia Diaz and Melissa Clary beat Kihuen and will move on to the general election for Ward 3.
Kihuen lost to Clary by a total of 5 votes.

Kihuen returned to Las Vegas after one term after an ethics probe was launched when 3 women came forward claiming he made unwanted physical and verbal advances towards them.
Kihuen has denied the allegations made against him.
