RTC reminds transit riders to stay healthy during extreme heat by drinking plenty of water, staying covered and cool, limiting time in the sun to a minimum, and dressing appropriately for hot temperatures. These tips are especially important for children and senior citizens, who may be more vulnerable to the effects of extreme heat.
