The Regional Transpiration Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) will provide free rides on all of its 39 fixed routes from 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve to 9 a.m. on New Year's day.
The offer includes two popular resort corridor routes: The Deuce on the Strip, which offers double-decker sightseeing experiences, and the Strip and Downtown Express (SDX), which has limited stops for faster service.
Also, the Centennial Express (CX) and the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) will operate at an increased 20-minute frequency. Plus three RTC operated park-and-ride facilities (Centennial Hills Transit Center, Westcliff Transit Center, and South Strip Transfer Terminal) will each provide transportation to New Year's Eve festivities.
Riders should note that extensive transit detours will be in place on New Year's Eve due to road closures and celebrations on the Las Vegas Strip. The RTC encourages customers to download the rideRTC app to plan their trip.
