Las Vegas police worked a barricade situation involving several robbery suspects in west Las Vegas on Saturday.
Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Tropicana Avenue, west of Fort Apache Road, before 1 p.m. after detectives located thieves wanted from an earlier robbery at a cell phone store.
Authorities urged apartment residents to stay inside and advised others to stay away while they worked the active standoff as the suspects were not wanting to exit the residence.
The large police response included officers from several agencies with travel lanes shut down on Tropicana Avenue.
