LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A retired Las Vegas police captain is traveling to Northern California to help a first responder family whose home was destroyed by the Camp Fire.
Richard Fletcher saw a Facebook post Tuesday requesting someone to bring a donated camper to the family in Chico and immediately decided he would do it.
Within the last day, the community has donated more than $700 in money and gift cards, along with clothing, toys and household items and donations.
