Restaurant owner behind Trump discount celebrates win

The day before the election, we first introduced you to Mia Ha. She's the owner of Pho 87 near Spring Mountain Road and Jones Boulevard and a die-hard Donald Trump supporter.

She even offered a 19.87 percent discount to any customer who came in and said they voted for Trump.

Now, as she prepares to take down her signs and get back to normal, she celebrating Trump's win and her newfound 13 Action News fame. Our initial interview with Mia was shared thousands of times on social media.

"I don't know what that number means," Ha told 13 Action News Friday. "I'm just being honest. I just tell it the way it is. That's what they call me Trump Junior."

On Friday, she shared her opinion about Trump protestors across the country.  

"They're crying because they have no job," she says. "That's what they do, they protest. It's not going to make a difference."  

Her advice?

"Go back to school and work hard."

Ha says since our first story, many customers supporting Trump came in to the restaurant to get the discount.

But Ha says her food is so good, even her most liberal customers are still her regulars.  

"It's OK. Kanye West will run for president in 2020," she says.

Ha says in addition to her excitement over the national results, she's equally excited that Nevada passed Question 2. She's a big believer in Eastern medicine and the benefits of marijuana.
