A new report has found that Nevada has some of the most overworked nurses and physicians in the country.
Medicare Health Plans ranked the Silver State 9th for the most overworked nurses and 3rd for doctors.
On average, there were 9.2 nurses per 1,000 people for two doctors for every 1,000 people in Nevada.
The report looked at data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Kaiser Family Foundation and compared the doctor and nurse counts to the population data to get the number of professionals per 1,000 people.
