LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — More than 22 percent of millennials in Las Vegas are living at home.
That's according to a new report by Zillow.
The real estate site says this is the highest rate for the 23 to 37-year-old age group since 2001.
"It's cheaper to live at home, especially if you are from Vegas and UNLV is just a 20-30 minute drive. I feel like it's more convenient to live at home. I'm not surprised," said UNLV student Daisy Torres.
Also, a factor is the median price of rent in the Las Vegas valley, as rent prices have jumped more than 7 percent from just last year.
