REPORT: Las Vegas rent prices on the rise, 3rd fastest rate among major US cities

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Rent is getting expensive in the Las Vegas valley, and fast.

According to Apartment List, rents in Las Vegas are up 3.8% over the past year,

That's the third fastest growth rate among the nation's largest cities.

Since 2014, rent prices in Las Vegas have grown 21%, outpacing the national average of 11.3%.

The median rent for a two bedroom apartment in Las Vegas is currently $1,186 compared to the national average of $1,189.
