LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Buying a home in Las Vegas will cost you more than the same time last year, according to latest report from Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.

The median price for houses is now $305,000. That is up 3.4% from last August.

Townhomes and condos are more expensive as well. Their prices went up about 4%.

Even though prices are up, it isn't all good news for sellers.

While more homes were sold compared to last August, sales of condos and townhomes dropped about 5%.
