Ceiling caves after leak complaints ignored, Las Vegas tenant says

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A leak at a Las Vegas valley apartment has caused the ceiling to cave in after months of ignored complaints to the landlord, according to the unit's tenants.

Chelsea Carr and her boyfriend, Emmitt Handy, reached out to 13 Action News for help, saying their landlord -- Villas at Desert Pointe -- has ignored them since late October.

A Villas at Desert Pointe on-site supervisor declined an on-camera interview with us, but did say that management has been aware of leaks since November. The supervisor also says they'll be moving Carr's family to a new unit.
