LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — On Monday, a judge denied a motion to prevent the Clark County Commission from reconsidering its decision not to certify the election in District C.

Previously, the commission voted not to canvass the results of the District C race after hearing from the registrar of voters, Joe Gloria, who reported 139 discrepancies in a race with just a 10-vote margin.

Democrat Ross Miller, who would be declared the winner as the race stands, seeks to have the commission reconsider its decision and have the race certified.
Republican Stavros Anthony wants to prevent the commission from reconsidering its initial vote and move forward with the possibility of a special election.
The commission is scheduled to discuss the issue during its board meeting Tuesday.
