LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — With less than a week until the 2020 presidential election, candidates are hitting the ground running in battleground states hoping to secure those final votes.

Sen. Kamala Harris spoke in Las Vegas on Tuesday at the Doolittle Community Center to encourage early voting.

President Trump also landed at McCarran International Airport on Tuesday.

Harris says she understands the impact COVID-19 has had in Nevada and believes that President Trump handled the pandemic poorly.

She discussed her belief that President Trump has focused on reversing the previous administration’s work.

“Ever since he started running for office he has a weird obsessing with getting rid of anything Obama created,” says Harris.

Former Vice President Joe Biden spent the day campaigning in Georgia, which is a state no Democrat has won in almost 30 years.

President Trump made three campaign stops Tuesday, toting big turnouts.

"There's never been anything like this in terms of enthusiasm, in terms of crowds,” said President Trump.

By the end of the week, President Trump will have campaigned across nearly a dozen states.

And he is expected to speak Wednesday to Nevada and Arizona voters at an event in the Laughlin and Bullhead City area.
