NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Dozens of supporters of President Donald Trump chanting “stop the steal” at a rally outside the elections department today in Clark County.
They believe the mail-in ballot-counting process is rigged after the president has lost ground on the Nevada election results against Joe Biden, who is now president-elect of the United States.
"Mail-in ballots should never have been done. Why were they done? Why were they done? Because it's a way of stealing the election. Trump got rallies with 18, 20, 30 thousand people and Biden won? That's nonsense they knew that they were doing this all along, that’s why he didn't have to do anything,” said Robert Lynn, one of the protesters.

However, these claims remain unfounded.
A handful of people who disagree with them also showed up because they believe in the election process and know that mail-in ballot counting takes time.
"This isn't going to do any good, it’s over. These people can protest all they want, but the people have spoken. If they have evidence that the election has been rigged, please show it, don't just say you got it, show it to somebody. They haven't been able to do that,” said Linden King,
For Democrats, it’s time to start working on bringing the country together.
"There's been so much division with the Trump campaign and the Trump era. It has been very disruptive to America and it has caused so much division and it just feels wonderful to say I’m an American again, “ said Tonya Gonzalez, a Biden-Harris supporter.
In the meantime, the vote-counting will continue here in Nevada.
Official results are expected next week.
