LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Gov. Steve Sisolak was one of the thousands of Nevadans casting their votes on the first day of early voting in the state.
Sisolak and his family voted today at the Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas.

"I think it's a great thing. It's a great opportunity. My wife, my daughters, and I all came out and cast our ballots and we're excited about the opportunity. We've made more options available for folks. We hope that they take advantage of it and exercise the right to vote. Make a plan, get out there and vote," Solak said.
Today, Clark County tweeted that as of 3 p.m. almost 18,000 ballots had been cast.
