LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County Election Department says it will hold press briefings at 10 a.m. every day, including weekends, starting on Thursday as the agency counts the remaining ballots that need to be counted.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Registrar of Voters Joe Gloria said the daily briefings are an effort in transparency and that they will answer questions during the conferences.

The agency promises to provide daily updates on how many ballots were counted and how many it has left to count.
So far, Gloria says 337,000 mail-in ballots have been counted and that his team can process 70,000 a day.

He said the department is working "feverishly" to count ballots received on Election Day through the mail and at drop-off boxes to make an accurate report.
"As of yesterday, we've already read all of our early voting and all of our Election Day in-person voting," said Gloria.
"What we have left now is to process provisional ballots, electronic ballots that were sent to overseas voters, electronic ballots that were processed for disabled voters, and also some special ballots for new residents," he explained.
Gloria stressed the importance of accuracy and said to reporters asking questions, "I don't want to give you estimations. That's why we are setting up a press conference every day, so I can provide accurate [information]."
He also said that the department is statutorily required to continue to receive mail until Nov. 12, as long as the mail is postmarked Nov. 3.
When asked if the Biden or Trump campaign has reached out to the department Gloria said neither campaign had.
The State of Nevada announced earlier today that new vote results would not be available until 9 a.m. Thursday.
